Creatives Can Now Animate Easily with Procreate Dreams iPad App

Procreate has been the most trusted app for advertisers to create images on the go while facilitating other use cases as well. Now the developer has announced a new application to the Procreate family called Procreate Dreams. This application makes it easier for creative users to work with 2D animation workflows.

“Procreate Dreams is a brand new animation app packed with powerful tools that anyone can use. Create immersive hand-drawn animations, motion graphics and enhance them with photos, videos and audio,” notes the developer.

Procreate Dreams will be available on November 22, 2023, and will be released for a one-time price of $19.99 without subscriptions. It will be available for Apple iPad.

Procreate Dreams features

The new 2D animation-centric app is designed for touch. So artists and animators can “control how the animation should feel,” and introduces new tools like “Performing,” which lets users automatically add keyframes with gestures when the tool records actions. The developer also hints that the creative does not necessarily need previous animation experience to use the application.

In addition, the application supports a multi-touch timeline. This means that ads can combine drawing, cel animation, keyframing, video editing and even compositing.

In addition, Procreate Dreams also supports several brushes already offered by Procreate, and using the Apple Pencil with its low latency and accuracy should also work well with Procreate Dreams.
